The hotel was built in 1986 and was last renovated in 2010 (excluding the Annex buildings). The hotel and the Annex building undergo cosmetic renovations annually.
It consists of a complex of bungalows and an Annex complex, located next to the main area across an inactive road. The hotel is decorated in the style of a traditional Cretan village. The main area is 20,000 m 2 .
